Descrição
Ijebu Garri is a finely textured, sour-tasting variety of garri made from fermented cassava, originating from the Ijebu people of southwestern Nigeria. Its sharp flavor makes it especially popular for drinking “soaked garri” with cold water, sugar, groundnuts, or milk, though it can also be made into eba to accompany soups. Rich in carbohydrates for quick energy, it also provides dietary fiber, small amounts of protein, and essential minerals like calcium and potassium, making it both a staple food and a satisfying snack.
